This is just a quick analysis of software search engine optimization.  There are entire books on optimizing web sites for search engines, so I can't go into all of that here.  This will give you just something to think about.

Search engines sometimes are not all that smart.  They do not necessarily know that NY and New York are the same thing.  They also couldn't possibly know what your searcher is going to type in to find you... instead we would want to ask your coworkers, look through your website, look through industry media, your website statistics, ask your customers, ask your internal search engine, related terms on search engines, friends, neighbors and any other unexpected place.

We're able to control the types of words and relevant items that are used where software may fall short.  It's always better to look over your software's shoulder because as we all know, software may have glitches or holes that need patching.  Anyone who has used any Microsoft products can attest to that.  Computers can't understand things the way we understand things.  Keep that in mind when someone offers to do your search engine optimization with software they are 1) not doing the work themselves, 2 ) not double checking what the software has done, 3) don't understand the importance of a second pair of eyes [which in business we all know that a second pair of eyes should be followed with a third pair of eyes], and 4) don't understand the eternal truths of search engine optimization.  They promise a lot of extras that are not necessary.
